Grandmas

My grandma.....

Your grandma, whatever she may be, cranky, sweet or other will be missed when she is gone. You will miss cranky... and be somehow surprised by it. I love my grandma and am learning how to except her just as she is. Because my grandma is quite possible the meanest grandma. I had the pleasure of having a sweet grandma but she lived in Oregon and we lived in Alaska. So sweet could have been a show when we were visiting. This grandma, she is just down right mean. She can be sweet and when she is it's great but it does not happen very often. I am here visiting her for the holidays and man I had forgotten the meaning of a mean grandma. I am puzzled by the missing her and then getting around her and wondering what in the world did I miss this for. I don't need this. Bottom line is that I love my grandma and I will be crushed when her days comes mean or not I will miss her dearly. So I am trying to enjoy cranky and mean for as long as I have the opportunity.
